“she’s... the perfect person for me in every way” seems to directly contradict his lead-in of “I don’t want to sound shallow”.

But, if he’s really attracted to her, and they have great conversations, and have interests that match up, hopefully they can make it stick for the long haul.

Does seem like there might be some surprises after just 3 months, though (family, ex-s, who knows?).
